DAY 3
POINT OF VIEW I
Sunday, 11 September 2016
Next, we collected all our observations from the day before and the results of the street
interviews on a board. Subsequently, course members started to summarize the different
observations in order to find the most important ones for our cross-cultural home. Before
lunch, small groups visualized the ideas from the interviews and field research in rough
prototypes for different types of flats.
In the afternoon, we visited Refugio Sharehaus in Neukölln. This is a Co-Housing project for mi-
grants and locals, where we booked a guided tour. We did not have the chance to talk with many
inhabitants, but fortunately one migrant who lives there showed us the roof terrace. He allowed
us to ask him details about the organization and the culture of the Refugio.
